Shipping & Returns

Shipping

All orders are processed within one to three business days from the time we receive them. Samples are  shipped via USPS First Class Mail, 50 ml and 15 ml bottles are shipped via UPS Ground. You will receive an automatic notification once your order has shipped with a tracking number.

Carta is based in San Francisco, California. We charge sales tax for any orders shipped within California. We don't yet offer international shipping.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy and safety of the shipping address provided. We will not be held liable for incorrectly entered shipping information or packages left, stolen, or missing from an unreliable or unsafe shipping address.

Returns 

Carta parfums are handcrafted and bottled in small batches to order. We therefore cannot honor requests for  returns. Given the idiosyncratic nature of individual body chemistry, we encourage you to try a sample first before committing to a full bottle. Please email heather@cartafragrances.com with any questions or if you have experienced circumstances which might warrant reconsideration of this policy We'll respond to you in a timely manner with a proposed solution.

Gift Wrapping

If you are sending a Carta fragrance as a gift, please include instructions in the note section at check out and we will be sure to include a small card with your personal message.
